The Luxe Outdoors F8 Winter Shelter is our largest backpackable hot tent. It's the hot tent version of the F8 with one door, a stove jack, snow skirts and without the inner. It also includes a ventilation port for those days with the stove running non stop. The door can be opened from either the top or bottom to provide more ventilation if needed.
Pair with an optional 2 person inner and a dedicated center pole.
Will sleep up to 3 with a stove. Also will fit one cot with a stove or two cots without.
Will sleep up to 6 - but it's tight. We think this shelter works best as a four person or fewer shelter.

A common question is should I choose this tent or the Megahorn III? If you are backpacking - choose the F8 Winter shelter. If you are car camping, choose the Megahorn III. The Megahorn III is larger and has dual screened doors - but is heavier at 8 pounds.

Ill try and keep this brief. You cant beat these tents for the price, I got the 1 man mau har and my buddy got the 2 man. Both were more spacious than anticipated. Simple and straight forward setups. Zipped together they made a legit setup with our stove in the center. Condensation was minimal with the top vents open on both tents and air movement coming under the rain fly. The only gripe we both had was in windy conditions. The "doors" of the rain fly need 1 more anchor point on each flap in the middle so when pulling the sides in to get them closer to the ground it doesnt flap obnoxiously or have a snow skirt on the rain fly like the vestibule does. Again these tents rocked for us hunting in 80-30F.
This is my 2nd of these, 3 idaho elk hunts{20+ d} & 13d in Alaskan bush & several summer trips, GR8 hot tent! Idaho gave us 3 hail storms, and we lived in it for 30 hours of rain storms in Alaska!
Mountain camping just got easier
Would be a great option for a small family, 6 people as a sleeping tent 4 people with gear, could do 3 with gear and stove pretty comfortable. Not bad to set up and well worth the steps because it is very strong. Really neat design and great for summer or winter. Has three doors which gives you flexibility. Good job!

I have already used this tent and it performed amazing. I used it as a hot tent and cannot wait to take it out as a summer tent. Has lots of headroom compared to my Nemo tent. The hardware on this tent is solid.

I used this inner tent for winter camping, to keep drips of water off of me and my sleeping bag. It worked great and the fit/integration to the tent works very well.
I was able to run my stove in the tent with no issue while this inner tent was set up.
I'm sure the noseum net will work well in bug season too.
This specific inner was not available on the website, so I reached out and got in contact with Lorrie and Jim. They were both extremely helpful and timely coordinating with Luxe to get their hands on this inner. I have yet to set it up but I have taken it out of the packaging and all looks in order. The only downside is it did not come with any sort of carrying bag.
The folks here at 3 Ridges are great to work with. Gear came fast and in good order!
Did an initial set up and if you watch their set up video it goes up east. I’ve set it up 3 times now and it’s nice. 🥾🪓
