Megahorn XL 8 Person Hot Tent. Sleeps up to 8 people. Includes center pole. Select from tent only, tent with floor, tent with 1/2 inner tent, or tent with floor and 1/2 inner tent.
Updated model - increased storm worthiness, inner tent option and more! Can now be ordered without the floor or with an 4 season inner tent.
Sleeps 4 or 5 with stove installed.
The optional removeable floor has side walls that extend up the side of the tent to block drafts and condensation. The walls can be extended or left down as desired.
Optional removeable floor can be rolled to the side or removed to allow a wood stove. Having the floor installed assists with pitching, but is not necessary to pitch the tent and can be left at home to save weight.
4 side panel tieouts included. Up to 8 more can be installed if needed.
Fits 4 cots with stove. It's an absolute palace for two cots and gear.
When pitching for the first time, stake the four stakes on either side of the door panels in place in as close to a rectangle as possible. Positioning straps connect the four corners to assist - just pull them tight. Insert the center pole and stake out the rest of the stakes. This will result in a near perfect pitch with minimal adjustment necessary.
If purchased with a floor, lay the floor out and buckle the tent body to the floor. The positioning straps running from the corners of the door across the tent to the other door can be removed. Stake out the four corners of the doors, pulling the four corners as close to a rectangle as possible. Insert the center pole and stake out the rest of the stakes. Once the tent is pitched, the floor can be removed completely or partially if desired.
We suggest seam sealing the cap and the seams around the door and window vents.

Have had this for 3 weeks and cannot stop going out and using it. Been all over PA and NY in state parks and Forrest’s with it. It is small so would stick to one person per shelter. Waiting for the Hercules to be available for more winter adventures. Would love to test that tent out. I volunteer at a kids camp and go up there often. Tent camping is my default accommodation. Would love it to be able to stand up and be warm in the winter…
Perfect modular tent for multi use as I would probably just use it in the fall/winter for hunting so I would keep it as a hot tent but it is very packable via boat side by side or even my snow machine, stays warm very roomy, great base camp tent for solo use as I like extra room so my gear can dry, the titanium stove is great. Would be better if the hot tent side was taller but with it lower than the dome the heat carries right over I’ll try winter camping and digging down
This is a good stove i used compressed logs with me that i bring to camp I can use about 3 and keep warm with coals I’ve only used it down to 30f keeps the area dry and warm if you open it up it gets hot I’m sure it will be warm and easily packable in my snow machine. I kept it as displayed in the pictures of the mau-har tent so it wasn’t too hot
The only thing I would add on is some high temp foil tape to seal it better to keep coals longer
I ordered 1x1 dual tent, it packs easily and sets up fast and easy, even in the dark. Handled a 4 hour thunderstorm well; the tree cover helped too I am sure. Had to pack it in damp and set it up to dry back at home. Im looking forward to using them often this fall.
Great tent. Took it out over the weekend . Worked very well with a stove I have. Plenty of room for gear. Easy to set up. My friends also loved it who went scouting with me and are planning to buy one as well.
Great build quality, just like the Minipeak XL tent itself. Great option for camping in warm climates with lots of bugs, when you can leave the stove and winter inner at home
Excellent product! Its big and awesome and well made. We use it over our river kitchen. Comes with stakes and cordellette. Highly recommend.
I recently went on a multi-day float and had multiple days of rain. The bat wing saved the cooks, the food, and several dry-weather boaters from drowning. definitely a game-changer on rainy days (and I am quite sure it would work for shading the same area during hot days).
(Stakes provided must be upgraded if using in heavy weather, or on sand.)
What i like about this tarp is the weight and size perfect for those rainy snowing hailing days you can throw it over a fallen tree for a fast shelter or use the rope and steaks for longer periods. It's nice for that little extra room for packs or fire wood. I highly recommend it.

It is the exact size pole 4 the tent ⛺ I purchased. It breaks down into 3 pieces. Fits perfectly in my tent bag. Best tent pole I've ever owned. 👍

I've been using my MiniPeak XL with a stove for early spring and late fall canoe camping trips in the Adirondacks. Now, with the Summer Inner, I will be using it for late spring and summer trips as well. It's a versatile addition, as it can be positioned in different locations in the tent. It is a nice option when I don't want to take the Two-Person Inner because I need more room inside. Combined with the Mini-Tarp, it gives me so much room for gear and relaxing in the tent. There's lots of room inside the Summer Inner for my Big Agnes inflatable cot. 3 Ridges was great - processed and shipped my order quickly.
